Sunday Superlatives
Most Fabulous Update
Remember Stephen and John? These are the two boys whose feet were infested, and I mean infested with jiggers. My friend, Kate, took them to Dru and Asher Collie who run SoleHope. If you need a bit of encouragement that good things really do happen in this world, read how their story is unfolding.
Two Favorite Pictures of the Week
This is my daughter, Sara Maria, worshipping with her church.
My cup is full.
Greatest article
Did you read this in Huffington Post - Why Generation Y Yuppies are Unhappy? SO insightful. I'd love to know what you think!
This just makes me laugh every time I listen to it. I particularly love his play-by-play of the lady hitting the guy with her NVI Bible. :)
Most Fantastic Rescue
Henry Blackaby who wrote one of the most influential Bible studies of our time, Experiencing God, went missing Thursday afternoon. More than 24 hours later he was found. YEY!
What's going on in your world? I'd love to know! This week at the Riverside, we'll be in Philippians 1:27-30.
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that form God. For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.
Leave me a comment and let me know your superlatives, articles you've enjoyed, videos that have made you smile, and organizations that are doing amazing things in the world. I'd love to hear! And I look forward to gathering with you tomorrow at the Riverside.
