You are Chosen and Appointed for something AMAZING

This past weekend over 800 women, and a few men, converged at Ridgecrest for Missions Extravaganza.  What a weekend!

As I met with folks, led conferences, and spoke, I had this amazing sense of AWE that the Lord would allow me to be part of this.
"Who am I" I asked the Lord, "that you would give me this privilege?"

And then, Roger and Rose Ann Childres, missionaries in Botswana, spoke.

Through them, God answered my question.

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you
that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide."
 John 15:16.
I am chosen and appointed by God to bear fruit that will last.
And, if you know Jesus, then you too are chosen and appointed by God as well for something AMAZING!  How awesome is that?
God chose us in love.

"He chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.  In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will."  Ephesians 1:4-5

God appoints us in love.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith.  And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance for us."  Ephesians 2:8-10.

We respond in love.

"Be imitators of God, as beloved children.  And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." Ephesians 5:1-2

As we choose to live in the love of Jesus, he will show us what he has appointed for us.  And when we respond in love to his call, we will have the joy of partnering with him to advance his Kingdom on the earth.  Join me?
I am chosen and appointed by God for something AMAZING.  And so are you!
