Crazy Love!

An 11-old girl named Lydia began an adventure when she decided to love Jesus in a "crazy" way. While reading Crazy Love, Lydia's mom challenged her kiddoes to love people in "crazy ways." Their family has one biological child with Down's Syndrome, and has adopted another, so Lydia's heart already beats strongly for children with Down's and considers these two siblings of hers to be among her greatest blessings. Lydia heard about Darya, a child in a Ukrainian orphanage who is on the verge of being moved from an orphanage to an institution from which she could never be adopted, and this was Lydia's response ...

So I asked my mom if I raised $20,000.00 could we go get Darya ourselves and be her family. My mom said yes, if I raised that much money she would know it was from God, but she said she didn't think I could do it because that is a whole lot of money. I told her I was going to try my best and nothing is impossible with God.

Well, let me just tell you that the Lord has moved mountains and over $26,000 has come in to adopt Darya. This family will use $20,000 to bring this one lamb home and donate the rest to Reese's Rainbow for the rescue of another.
