It doesn't get any better...

...than a jacuzzi with red, blue, and green underwater strobe lighting.

So, tonight, after the LAST TIME EVER that Katya has to go to the orphanage (WOO-HOO!), we took a taxi toward Bob and Andrea Burnham's for dinner. I say "toward" because the taxi driver dropped me off at a very likely address, however it was not the right address. So, here Katya and I were on some street in Odessa. I'm trying to read Russian store names (the streets weren't marked) to Andrea on the phone who has sent Bob to find me. Katya is chasing "kiskas" (kittens - her name) along the sidewalk, and I'm glad that I have been praying through Psalm 91 throughout the day. Never was I afraid, but I was happy to spy Bob and their precious daughter Abigail across the intersection while I was talking to Andrea explaining that I was across from "Light Cafe" and a "Bosch" store. Abigail and Katya chatted it up in
"little girl international language" all the way back to the Burnhams and we had a delightful time. Katya loved playing with their girls and I was thankful for her to have such a fun time after being drug around to governmental offices by Alyona and me for the past two days.

After dinner and play time, Katya copped a ride back to our apartment on the seat of Bob's bike (he was pushing, not riding, so don't worry) where we said our "Das-va-dan-ya's" and this is where the strobe-lit jacuzzi fits in. After our P90-U trek up the four flights of stair to our apt., Katya was ready for .... something. Three cheese sticks and a cup of pomegranate juice later, it was decided that a jacuzzi bath was just the thing to complete a perfect afternoon and evening. And complete the evening , it did ... At least an hour of bath-time fun, including hair-do creations, dolphin surfing, fountain making, was made all the more exciting by grooving to the pulsating rhythym of the red, blue, and green underwater strobe of the jacuzzi. So, I'm trying to figure out where we can put one of these at 641 Montei..... Regardless. Kateryna Ballerina is tucked in for the night and I'm off to mop up the bathroom floor.
