"Patience, persistence, and politeness"

was the advice given to us today. Very good words!

We missed our afternoon at #5 because of a meeting with the city administrator, but did meet Vinny Rosini for dinner and guess who he brought with him?

KATYA, along with her sweet friend Paulina, a bunch of the other kids from #5, Maggie, Larissa, Katya (a translator), and more! Katya and Paulina ate pizza (not octupus-squid pizza), picked the croutons, tomato, and chicken from my salad, drank a coke, and had a milkshake. Now they're on their way back to #5 where I'm guessing they'll bounce off the walls for a couple of hours before drifting off.

Please continue to pray for us, for ALL our children, and for the Lord to show Himself powerful to rescue Katya from an institution and place her in a family. We are so thankful for all the encouragement both for us and for the six at home. We miss them like crazy and are SO thankful that they have the heart, passion, and mindset for this mission. They are on the frontlines, as much as we are.

"Patience, persistence, and politeness" - wise words.
