There's no place like home!

Although the flights were smooth, by the time we landed at Dulles, we were all wishing  it had been as quick as clicking our heels three times!  There really is no place like home with water at the turn of a faucet, a mattress on our bed, and a yard for the kids to play in!  Over the next few days, I'll post pictures and stories of our time with Katya, as well as updates on  how things are progressing with the adoption.  Our family feels incomplete with out Katya being with us.  I found myself counting and re-counting as we moved through airports as I had become adepts at counting first 3 (SM, G, and A) and then 4 (J, C, P, and K) while we were in Ukraine.

Thanks so much for all your prayers and encouragement.  The comments and emails were such a blessing to us.  I want to give a loud shout-out to AMY ECKERT (http://www.theeckerts.blogspot.com/) who is our personal hero for providing meals for us before we left and on our return!  Thanks, Amy!  You're our hero!

Oh, and do be in prayer for Grace and Sara Maria particularly as we transition.  Grace starts classes TODAY at our local community college, and Sara Maria's classes resume at Covenant tomorrow.
