Dossier to be submitted on September 1st!

This means that Bill and I could leave again for the Ukraine for an SDA appointment in Kiev on September 15th or 22nd and then head to Odessa.  After three weeks, most likely both Bill and I will return to the U.S. during the 10-day waiting period.  After this is complete, I will return to Ukraine to complete the adoption and bring Katya home! 



Are we sorry we've already made our plans to head over next weekend for a reconnection trip?  No way!  Rather, we see it as the perfection of God's timing overriding human logic.  The wisdom of the world would surely see this as a waste of time, money, and energy.  But we see it as a picture of the "foolish" love of God  in sending His one and only Son to die on the cross.  God went to immeasurable lengths to rescue us, to claim us from the orphanage, and adopt us as His children.  He's giving us the privilege of  living out this greater reality by "foolishly" taking 6 children across an ocean to love on one little girl and ask the Lord to prepare the way to bring her home.
