A dear woman in our church is bringing us a ham and rolls. My sweet mother-in-law is bringing vast numbers of deviled eggs. The kids will put together the Resurrection Cake. Which leaves just a few items for me!
The one absolutely non-negotiable on our Easter Sunday Menu is Pineapple Casserole. It is SO not the way our family usually eats, but once a year we'll throw caution to the wind and enjoy.
Pineapple CasseroleIngredients32 oz crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup sugar
4 Tablespoons flour
6 eggs, beaten
8 slices of white bread, cubed
1 cup of butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Spray 13" x 9" pan with cooking spray
- Mix sugar, flour, and eggs
- Add pineapple
- Pour into pan
- Toss bread cubes in butter
- Sprinkle on top
- Bake for ~ 40 minutes at 350 degrees
Paired with ham, it is truly amazing.
