Pieces of the Puzzle Are Sliding Into Place
While we are not completely beyond the Waiting Place, there has been a bit of shifting this week for the family. Pieces of the puzzle are sliding into place and I wanted to let you in on it!
1. Adelyn, Josiah, Cameron, and Piper have been accepted to Trinity Academy of Raleigh. While finances still need to come together in order to make this a reality, we are SO encouraged that this is a real possibility for them.
2. Although the folks at Trinity love Katya and hope she'll be able to come next year, she won't be going to Trinity next year. She still has academic gaps from her orphanage years, particularly in math. It's tough to think about her not going to school with the others, but we do trust that this is best. SO much prayer has bathed this entire process that we are confident that this is God's hand.
3. Grace has been accepted at UVA. We're still waiting to hear from Wake Forest and William & Mary, but are tremendously encouraged by this acceptance.
All is not settled. Finances need to come together. We are still waiting for scholarship packages from all the schools. I'm looking for a full-time position that will energize and challenge me. But the pieces that did come together this week are such an encouragement. And, in the meantime I'll keep on ...
- Pursuing Jesus,
- Taking care of myself, and
- Working hard at what's in front of me.
What's your waiting place like? What challenges are you facing? Are you able to sleep? Are you finding yourself distracted by the what-ifs? Are pieces of your puzzle sliding into place or do they still seem hopelessly scattered? Leave me a comment or email me directly at cynthiafin@gmail.com. I'd love to pray for you as you seek Christ in your waiting place.
