"Defend the cause of the fatherless..."

Isaiah 1:17

How appropriate for us is it that TODAY, when I will be heading to Ukraine to claim Katya as my daughter, has been declared "Orphan Sunday." By God's grace and through His grace, He is enabling Bill and me to live out the drama of becoming "Father to the fatherless." Psalm 68:5. Kateryna Joy Finley is NO LONGER an orphan, and if you by the Spirit, cry out God, "Abba! Daddy! Father!" then you are no longer an orphan either.

Obviously, I'll miss it, but beginning November 13th, I'll be able to see here.
