Look at my Daughter!

Can you imagine how I felt when I received this in my inbox on Saturday?  Liliya gave her a birthday party from "us" on Saturday and then sent me pictures!  These are the first pics I've had since we put her on that plane back in July.

Or so I thought.  Would you look at this backpack I bought for her?



It is not a pink floral backpack.  It has pink skulls on it!  And I didn't even realize it until we were in the airport.  There was nothing I could do, but to hug her, kiss her, and put her on that plane.  The backpack may be "hip," but it's definitely not my style.    Oh, well, perhaps she thinks her Mama is super cool ... or not.

At this point, I don't care.  I have new pics of my daughter with very special socks!  Doesn't this just make you smile?  :)
